IT ALL BEGAN WITH A GOODBYE
In 2007 the Coors Light 48 Boneyard Blast became the 1st overnight softball event in Reno & Sparks as a final goodbye to the legendary Don Mello Sports Complex. For nearly 30 years players took to those fields, and we thought it only fitting to send it off in serious style. 104 teams showed up to say goodbye and as we watched them play game after game, party it up with the infamous Boneyard brew, and even take swings on a beater car, our passion for creating softball events was born. The rest, as they say, is history.
